Join Soprano and the head of tonebase voice, Heidi Vass, for this informative and actionable two week intensive exploring resonance and registration. In this interactive course, we are harnessing the pedagogical concepts of acoustics and phonation to impact the overall resonance of your vocal product. 

  • You'll develop a personalized frame work for talking about laryngeal registration. 
  • We'll break down these concepts into specific actionable exercises that you can use to discover new sounds and spaces. 
  • We'll work to create a personalized map of your registration spaces and learn how to identify and replicate the sensation of your specific vocal registers.  
  • You'll begin to understand the process of blending those sensations and spaces to aid in the fluid transition of the laryngeal and vocal fold processes.

All of which will lead to a cleaner more consistent resonant sound throughout your range!!

 

Note: in this two week intensive we are focusing on what are often considered  the primary registers - head, chest and mix. Though we may have a fleeting reference to whistle/falsetto or extended registrations, those are not the primary focus of this particular intensive.
