What's your go-to vocal warm up?

One of the most popular questions I hear from singers is "how should I warm up?" If you're watching the content on tonebase voice, you'll see a lot of warm up videos. It seems like every singer has their ideal warm up or favorite vocalize. In this discussion of the week, I want to know what your go-to warm up is. It could be one favorite exercise or a whole series of steps that gets your voice going. What's your go-to warm up? Where did you learn it? Why do you love it?

If I'm pressed for time, my go-to is a double octave scale - it hits my entire range with all the registration snags quickly and efficiently :)

Hi Heidi
Please could you recommend some warm up exercises...
I sing in a pop choir 60s/ 70s music, nothing serious just for fun. My range is in alto... but we sing in what ever comes out of mouth.
We warm up singing Daisy Daisy... few neck rolls, shoulder shrugs and deep breaths... nothing special.
I'm not a good singer... nothing pleasing in my voice unfortunately... find it difficult.
I know nothing about singing. Just wondering if there are any warm up exercises and techniques I can start with that will bring out a singing voice from within me.
I am a beginner at piano.... and enjoying it. Thought I join the Voice platform to appreciate doing more music 馃幎 馃幍
