Hello there! My question:
To sing sacred music is it necessary to take into account the religious preferences of the audience you are going to meet? The other day here in Italy in my small village there was a lirical soprano voice and piano recital named "sacred music concert". Looking at the program it was all just music that referred to Buddhism. It was strange to see a program like that because usually here in Italy "sacred music" is Christian. Then I thought that maybr the choice of a sacred program selects the audience by excluding a part of it... what do you think?

Thank you for this live stream, I'm also very interested in sacred music and early music, I don't see myself singing opera either (it can be fun but it's not my thing). It's nice to listen to other singers find themselves more comfortable singing other kind of repertoire, accepting what they enjoy and make a career of it, sounds easy but it's not!. It was inspiring. Thanks for all the advice to improve as a singer for this repertoire as well.
