Torna, Vezzosa Fillide Practice
Hello my Friends! For this practice journal I decided to post clips during the process of learning this piece. I am hoping that by doing this, I will be able to 1. catch mistakes earlier, 2. try to infuse more artistry into earlier steps of the process of learning a piece, as opposed to just trying to do that at the end. I separated this piece into sections, and This is a middle section. I have included the music/ipa . Any notes on diction or rythm, or anything else would be greatly appreciated!!

I love the methodical approach you are taking to learning this! I would have you concentrate on the difference between your flipped and rolled 'r's. Check out Derrick Goffs explanation for this in his Italian diction course. Just that little shift will add a level of specificity to the fantastic work you are doing!
On a related note, your IPA work is fantastic! Now, be sure to write in your word for word translation, so you know what your are singing in every moment (assuming you don't speak Italian fluently).

Thank you for posting this! It's part of my inspiration to post some of my work today as well.
