How do you get back in the swing of things?

After the lazy days of Summer, we've all found our way back into our vocal routines. With pumpkin spice in the air and a chill around the corner (or already settled in), these transitions can feel both exciting and challenging. How do you re-establish your practice schedule and routines after time off? What strategies do you find most effective for easing back into a consistent and effective schedule, and how do you maintain motivation and vocal health during these transitions?

One thing I like to do is make a list of all my upcoming performances and plan out what I need to do to prepare for them. I find that making a game plan far in advance keeps me from feeling overwhelmed and helps me feel like I can accomplish anything!

I have decided to join a classical music choir. I will have the audition on Tuesday, October 15th and the first concert maybe in December. For sure I will do at least one warm-up and a vocalize per week. ๐๐โ๐ป
