    Thanks so much  for hosting these little recitals. They are always great fun. Thurmond had wanted to say that the piece he sang was chosen specifically for working on agility (one of his strengths). And I record all my vocal lessons, so I have recordings almost from the very beginning of lessons (they are over Zoom). My teacher had suggested that it would be fun to put together a montage of how my voice has grown over the past 5 months. 

    And  , your singing was lovely! I especially enjoy your lower range; there is such warmth and depth to it. Thanks for sharing your voice with us today.

       It's always a pleasure checking in with you guys and see what you are working on. It's fun to see the progress you are all making month-to-month. It's quite remarkable how much growth you've been able to exhibit!

       Thank you! Much of the credit goes to my amazing voice teacher. My weekly 25-minute lessons are efficient and focused. He is thoughtful, introspective, and generous. I like to say he teaches with a gentle intensity, and through his encouragement I have found more and more confidence. After most lessons I feel like I could conquer the world! For me (as for most, I would think), confidence can make all the difference.

       Thanks Heidi for hosting these recitals; I always enjoy them. Thanks Michelle  for your comments.  I thought you and your son did a lovely job on two difficult pieces.
