I'm afraid I know none! Here in Italy we have a few Christmas Song but I'm not sure of what Carol exactly means. Is White Christmas a Carol?

    Ciao! 🌞😎✌🏻

Usually when we say "carol" we're talking about traditional songs that we sing around Christmas (celebrating the birth of Christ). That said, any Christmas song would be great to share!

I thought I'd share the long Welsh tradition, the Plygain.  Plygain services are a form of unaccompanied, spontaneous carol service traditionally held in churches early on Christmas morning (with the name in Welsh implying ‘daybreak’). The singing is entirely in Welsh. I have been to a few with my wife when we visit her parents in Wales.  I have attached a video of Bryn Terfel singing a Welsh Plygain carol.

anything starting with "Bryn Terfel" is a winner in my book! So fun to hear him with these other singers.. blending their styles. fantastic! Would love to see one of those Plygain services in person. Sounds AMAZING :)

Here is one of my all time favorites - the Coventry Carol :)

    Here are the lyrics:

Lully, lullay, Thou little tiny Child,
    Bye, bye, lully, lullay.
    Lullay, thou little tiny Child,
    Bye, bye, lully, lullay.

O sisters too, how may we do,
    For to preserve this day
This poor youngling for whom we do sing
    Bye, bye, lully, lullay.

Herod, the king, in his raging,
    Charged he hath this day
His men of might, in his own sight,
    All children young to slay.

That woe is me, poor Child for Thee!
    And ever mourn and sigh,
For thy parting neither say nor sing,
    Bye, bye, lully, lullay.

Is "Happy Days" a Carol or a Christmas Song, since it is Gospel? We could sing that one too with the virtual choir! 🌞😎✌🏻
